Overview
Now in its 43rd year, the annual Eldorado Run for the Cure is the longest running footrace in the State of Colorado, having started in 1979 and continued operation, through the pandemic, albeit virtually. This year, however, the beloved footrace returns to historic Eldorado Springs Canyon, bigger, and better than ever before. So, lace up your shoes, and start training for a four-mile out-and-back run through the scenic Eldorado Canyon, at the entrance of Eldorado State Park, located between Golden, CO and Boulder, CO, along the beautiful Highway 93. With generous donations from local sponsors, there will be good food, good drink, and good company for people of all ages and abilities.

Colorado Cancer Foundation
Since its inception in 1979, the Colorado Cancer Foundation (CCF) has worked hard to raise funds in support of technicians, physicians, researchers, and, most importantly, patients seeking cancer treatment at the Anschutz Medical Campus in Aurora, and the greater State of Colorado. One of the CCF's largest events is the annual Eldorado Run for the Cure, a four-mile out-and-back foot race held every August at Eldorado Canyon State Park south of Boulder, CO.
The CCF has minimal overhead, so nearly every dollar raised through events, such as the annual Eldorado Run for the Cure, goes directly to oncology treatment and research at the University of Colorado's (CU) Division of Medical Oncology, located at the Anschutz Medical Campus in Aurora, CO.
